Beau Booksby is a boutique rare book shop specializing in literary fiction, upmarket genre fiction, and fiction-adjacent nonfiction and poetry.

Our mission is to celebrate fiction at its best, in titles and copies that carry lasting literary and historical interest. This includes first editions of widely collected novels, association copies with meaningful provenance, inscribed works offering rich context, overlooked titles that merit rediscovery, and deep-cut fiction rewarding closer attention. We also value the ephemera that further contextualizes works of fiction: publisher’s materials, publicity releases, circulation artifacts, and other pieces of ephemera that rarely survive.

Just as importantly, we are committed to building a catalog with diverse representation across authorial identities and perspectives. The history of literary fiction is larger than any single canon, and the culture of collecting is better when it reflects that reality. We are intentional about what works we seek out and how we elevate them.

Launching with a limited catalog, our shop will expand in due course as our inventory is slowly released. Our journal will feature periodic updates and short essays on the fiction landscape, from award recognitions and reputational arcs to publisher histories and edition points.
